I’m a lifelong tech geek that was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. From an early age I was enticed by any gadget I could get my hands on. I spent a good portion of my childhood trying to figure out how different things worked and probably breaking more things than I managed to fix. After completing high school in the late 90s, I went on to graduate from NC State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Engineering in 2002.
After college, I worked as the IT lead at a small company in Winston-Salem until 2008. Since then, I have been a Linux systems administrator, Oracle Developer/DBA, and B2B specialist for a telecommunications distribution company in the Triad area. In my free time, I enjoy reading up on new technology, PC gaming, and spending time with my lovely wife and daughter. I have been very happily married since April of 2003 and was blessed with a wonderful daughter in March of 2009.
This is a personal site where I can post commentary on things going on in the technology world as well as share other thoughts with family and friends. I love having civil, intellectual discussions with folks so please feel free to provide your thoughts and opinions in the comments sections of my articles! But please, keep it clean!
